  • It’s about the person..

It’s a hard fact, without our veterans there would be no America. No Constitution, no Bill of Rights, no Freedom.

When you really boil it down, everything we have in this country today would not be here if millions of Americans hadn’t stepped up and served our nation. We believe this segment of our population deserve a lot more recognition and support than they currently receive.

Over the years we’ve been involved with several organizations that do great work on behalf of our veterans. While these organizations play an important role, our piece of the effort always felt so “disconnected” from the actual Veterans themselves. It never quite felt like it should because it lacked the human connection.

Over the years we have continued to look for opportunities to help veterans in need, trying to avoid the corporate side of the effort and instead, finding ways to support individuals instead of organizations. We’re always looking for that human to human connection. In our opinion, there is nothing more fulfilling than helping to improve the life of another person, especially one who agreed to put their life on the line for the rest of us.

In early 2024 we learned about a cool program where Veterans are using Art as a way to work through the stressors caused by their service to our country. Through a Veteran friend of ours named f. lin-ray, we learned that there were veteran artists communities organically popping up around the country, making a positive impact for a lot of people, including f. lin-ray.

We learned that many of these Veteran Artists were actually taking their creations to different art competitions, shows and events, often times selling their art in order to buy more supplies so they can continue creating.

As we talked about the positive impact this is making in the lives of these Veterans, we asked the question “What can we do to help?” After countless hours of discussion, planning, and organizing, the end result is iHeartVetArt,

an online marketplace designed to extend the reach of these veteran artists, giving them the ability to expand their artistic offering through additional merchandise.

With every purchase, you not only brighten the day of the artist you are supporting, but also helping them with financial resources to purchase more art supplies, pay their bills or maybe even take a vacation.

This IS the human touch that we’ve been looking for and Big Dog Branding is thankful for the opportunity to give back, directly to the PEOPLE that carry the title of U.S. Veteran.

We hope you will consider being part of the effort by purchasing from our Veteran Artists. The majority of all profits go directly to the artist you support.

    Thank you.
